Teacher Payment Policy

1. Service Fee

Talkmenow charges a service fee of 15% on each lesson's revenue. The remaining 85% is credited to the tutor's wallet.

2. When Do Tutors Get Paid?

Earnings are credited to the tutor's Talkmenow wallet when the student confirms lesson completion, or 24 hours after the lesson ends (if the student does not confirm).

3. Withdrawal

  • Tutors can request a withdrawal at any time when there is a balance in their wallet.
  • Tutors must set up their bank account information before requesting a withdrawal.
  • Funds will be transferred within 3–5 business days from the date of the request.
  • If the expected transfer date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the transfer will be made on the preceding business day.

4. Refunds

If a student cancels a lesson or a complaint is upheld, funds will be deducted from the tutor's wallet and refunded to the student according to the cancellation policy.

5. Taxes and Financial Obligations

Tutors are responsible for declaring and paying income taxes in accordance with applicable laws. Talkmenow does not represent tutors in tax obligations.
