General Trading Conditions

1. Booking and Confirmation

A transaction is initiated when a student books a lesson and a tutor confirms it. Students must have sufficient balance in their account to make a booking.

2. Service Fee

Talkmenow charges a 15% service fee on the total value of each lesson. This fee is automatically deducted when the tutor receives payment.

3. Refunds and Cancellations

• Cancellation more than 24 hours before the lesson: 100% refund of points.
• Cancellation between 12–24 hours before the lesson: partial refund.
• Cancellation within 12 hours of the lesson or after the session has been confirmed as complete: no refund.
• If a tutor does not confirm within the required time, the system will automatically cancel and refund all points to the student.

4. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, students may submit a report within 24 hours after the scheduled end time of the lesson. Talkmenow will review and make a final decision after gathering information from both parties.

5. Tutor Payments

Tutors receive payment after the student confirms lesson completion or after the automatic confirmation deadline. Funds are transferred to the registered bank account according to the payment policy schedule.
